How a Yarra Valley property cut grid reliance by storing excess solar

A Yarra Valley property with a 100 kW solar farm was exporting 200–300 kWh of excess solar each day while relying heavily on the grid to power its large home and farming operations.

ProFX installed a 50 kW/240 kWh RedEarth Dingo battery system to capture that surplus energy and use it overnight, reducing the property’s grid electricity consumption by around 50%. 

The system has also lowered operating costs, maximised the value of the existing solar investment and provides scalable capacity for future energy needs.
