One of RedEarth’s founders, Charlie has extensive experience in the finance and commercialisation of technology. With a background in technology investment banking, Charlie previously advised clean-tech and life sciences businesses on capital raising for commercial development. He was previously the Head of Corporate Development at RedFlow and has been the CEO of two ASX-listed companies. Charlie’s aim for RedEarth is to build a stable and profitable company through attention to research and development, growing it to become a true powerhouse and Australian icon.

Chris is an engineer and the CTO and a co-founder of RedEarth. With experience in developing technological solutions from scratch, Chris has an exceptional track record of creating products that have become commercial successes. He designs all RedEarth products and is responsible for ensuring their quality and timely delivery to the market. Chris always develops new products with practicality, reliability and - most importantly - the customer’s needs in mind. Chris was also the founder of ASX-listed RedFlow Limited, and prior to that worked in the oil industry with Schlumberger, managing significant operations in Libya, Venezuela, and Egypt among other locations.

Scott joined RedEarth Energy Storage to accelerate its growth and position it as a leader in the rapidly disrupting Australian electricity market. He has been working in the Australian and New Zealand renewable energy sectors since 2009, building several companies from the ground up to create millions in sales and establish himself as a leader in the field. Scott holds a Bachelor of Business and Marketing from the University of Queensland and an Associate Diploma in Cross Cultural Business and Marketing from the University of Lund in Sweden.

Matt McKee
HEAD OF SPECIAL PROJECTS

Matt has deep global experience in the energy, utilities, and resources industries, and is responsible for developing and launching RedEarth’s Private Power Plant ecosystem. Matt has a proven track record in developing and commercialising innovative digital solutions, which is essential experience to delivering real value to allow RedEarth customers to monetise their solar power. Matt is driven by customer experience and needs, and will use this focus to ensure RedEarth’s products are not only value-creating, but also engaging and approachable for all users. Prior to joining RedEarth, Matt worked as a Director for PwC, where he led its global mining analytics practice, including digital transformation and operational improvements; he also created innovative digital products for data-intensive, heavy industries.

A strategic finance executive with over 25 years' experience in Australian and UK markets, Brett is a chartered accountant with in-depth experience in financial control and reporting, corporate finance, acquisitions, and strategy development and execution. His past roles in multinationals, private equity, and merchant banking have seen him develop extensive experience with digital and technology companies and fast growing and scaling businesses. Previous positions include CFO of ASX-listed fintech Propell Holdings, and Head of Performance Management and Strategy at Auto & General Insurance.

Bruce Ebzery

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Bruce has a 25-year background in the Australian electrical industry, working in corporate roles building service offering via productisation of internal capabilities. He has masters degrees in Engineering and Economics. As the former Head of Business Development for RedFlow, Bruce’s experience extends to creating and maintaining key corporate relationships globally. Alongside the other RedEarth founders, Bruce started the company in the belief that energy storage will continue to burgeon in popularity around Australia and the world, and that a constant focus on local customer needs during this modernisation of the grid will confer significant advantages to customers and the company alike.

Peter Hasko

INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Peter is an experienced business leader, having successfully led fast growing companies in Europe, United States and Australia/NZ over a career spanning 40 years. He has broad experience in a variety of sectors including electronics/manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, and business services. He is a graduate of Stockholm School of Economics (Civ Ek), Harvard Business School (PMD) and a member of AICD.

Trent Donnelly

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Trent has over 20 years of experience in financial services across accounting, corporate recovery, investment banking, and asset management. With a B Comm from the University of Sydney and a Masters in Applied Finance from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, he is Director, Private Capital at Ord Minnett; past positions have included Head of Corporate Finance for Ord Minnett, and Managing Director of Aura Capital, a part of the boutique Asia Pacific alternative asset manager, Aura Group. He is currently also a Non-Executive Director of RedEye and VendorPanel, and a previous Non-Executive Director of CaIIN, 1300 Australia and Integrated Portfolio Solutions.
